Often people still refer to Mobile Broadband as 3G but it's so much better!
Since 3G was first introduced the speed has improved but the general term has stuck with users. There are five coverage types known as protocols - HSUPA, HSDPA, 3G, Edge and GPRS ranging from the best to the worst case scenario.
