1. Connect your router to your PC with a network cable.

2. Open your browser, enter the IP address 192.168.0.1 and press enter.

3. You will be prompted for a username and password .

Username: admin
Password: password

4. Once logged in, click on Setup Wizard in the menu on the left, You will select the Next option to proceed to the user details.

5. Enter your username an password as they appear on your ADSL data sheet.

6. Make sure the Encapsulation, VPI and VCI settings are set to LLC - Based, 8 and 35.

7. After you have inserted all the settings, you will need to apply the configuration settings and reboot the router. Once the router has been rebooted, the configuration setup will be complete.

Step 1 : Access your modem's control panel by typing the default IP address into your browsers address bar, this can be found in your router manual. With our Billion routers, the IP address is 192.168.1.254

Step 2 : Log in using the default username and password which can be found in your manual. With our Billion routers the details are as follows :

Username: admin
Password: admin

Step 3 : These are the details that need to be set, the location of these settings will vary depending on your router.

Encapsulation : "PPPoE LLC" or "PPP over Ethernet"
VPI: 8
VCI: 35
MTU: 1492
Bridge: Disabled (optional)

Username: "Your ADSL account username given to you in your welcome email"
Password: "Your ADSL account password given to you in your welcome email"

The rest of the options you can leave as default
Note: Don’t forget to save the settings to memory. Many Routers require you to "Save settings and reboot"
