Claws Mail is a light-weight, open-source mail client for Linux, Windows, and FreeBSD.

To set up your account, you only need to change the settings mentioned below. Everything else can be left as default.

Add a new account

Open Claws mail and click Configuration > Add new account.

Enter a name for your account and enter the following settings:

Protocol: IMAP

Server for receiving: imap.imaginet.co.za

SMTP server (send): smtp.imaginet.co.za

User ID: Your full email address

Password: Your email password

Select Automatic for authentication method.

SMTP Authentications (SMTP AUTH): Enabled

Authentication method: Automatic

User ID: Your full email address

Password: your email pasxsword

IMAP: Use SSL/TLS

SMTP: Use SSL/TLS

Automatically accept valid SSL/TLS certificates: enabled

SMTP Port: 587

IMAP Port: 993

Click OK and you're done!
