Connecting to MTN 5G
- Insert the MTN 5G Nano SIM into the SIM slot.
- Connect the power supply.
- Switch on the router and wait for 10 minutes to allow the SIM to activate.
- Restart the router by switching it off, waiting for 1 minute, and switching it on again.
- Connect your device (PC, laptop, smartphone, etc.) to the router with a cable or via Wifi. The WiFi details are are printed on sticker next to the SIM slot.
- Once connected, open your browser, and browse to the address https://192.168.8.1/
- If asked for a username and password, these are also on the sticket next to SIM slot. We strongly recommend you change the password.
- Once logged in, click Connection settings.
- Click APN, select Manual, and enter the following settings:
- Profile name: MTN 5G
- APN: ws.yourfixedlte.fwa
- apply the settings, and then click Set as default.
- Ensure that the 4G+/5G toggle is set to ON.
