Stages of a new installation order

A site survey will be carried out to assess the nature of the work

The site survey will be charged to the ISP at standard TTConnect call out rates.

A quote will be compiled for the work and will require acceptance from the ISP.

Once the quote has been accepted the installation will include 3 steps:

  • Civils: Physical work as per agreed survey plan.
  • "Blowing": The installation of the fiber cable from the street distribution point to the ONT position.
  • "SPLICING": The termination of the fiber cable to the ONT and testing of the connection.

Installation notes

TTConnect will endeavor to complete the installation as quick as possible with a possible worst-case scenario of a highly complex installation taking up to 21 days.

The steps are planned as the site schedule allows and are very rarely spaced evenly.

The installation costs are calculated on running meters from the building boundary wall; the first 15 metres are free.

Once splicing is complete TTConnect will require a signed "ONT Installation Form". This document is not an acceptance of successful ISP services (internet access) as TTConnect is only responsible for the installation and function of the ONT, thereby making the property fiber ready.
