WordPress is the most popular CMS, used by individuals, small businesses, and large corporations worldwide.

Automatic installation
Imaginet offers automated WordPress installation via your control panel. Follow these easy steps to get started in minutes.
Step 1: Access your control panel
Log in to https://my.imaginet.co.za.
Click on Hosting & Domains, then on Controls next to your domain name, then on the Hosting Panel button. You will be redirected to the Plesk control panel.
Step 2: Plesk control panel
Click WordPress in the menu on the left, then click Install WordPress.
Step 3: Install WordPress
- Enter your website name - this will be the name of your website and does not have to match your domain name exactly. For example, if your domain is mybusiness.co.za, you could set your website name to My Business Website, or whatever you want.
- Enter a username and password. You will use these to log in to WordPress later.
- Enter your email address. Your WordPress details will be sent to this address when the installation is complete.
- Click Install.

Manual installation
If you prefer manual installation, or want to understand how your CMS works, take a look at the following steps for manual WordPress installation.
Step 1: Download Installer Files
Download the latest version of Wordpress from the following link Wordpress Download and upload the files using the FTP method that you prefer.
Step 2: Start Installation
You are now ready to run the wordpress installer, so open a new tab in browser and type the domain name. You should then see the following screen below and click on Create a Configuration File and then select the Let`s go button.

You should then see the following page where you will need to click on Run the install.
Step 5: Site Details

Step 6: Installation Complete
The final step is to click the Install Wordpress button, once installation is complete you should then see the login page as seen below.
And that's it! All done!
